i was feeling pretty cold toward coldplay as well, especially after that X/Y album. but THEN i heard their latest album (Viva La Vida) which is actually produced by Brian Eno, who is a demigod in the ambient music scene. me gusta mucho.
Just so there is some consistency in messaging to my offspring, "stupid" is not a nice word. Not sure about "stoopid", or some of those band names. Did you make some of those up?
Now that I've had the chance to listen through a couple of times, props for Coldplay, Radiohead and Santogold. Special mention for Magnet's cover of "Lay lady lay". These will definitely be considered for permanent rotation on my "Shuffle".

i know stupid's a bad word! i'd never use it. stoopid is a word i made up which means "you are loved and valuable to the human race."
i made up no band names. i have a hard enough time naming my own :)
