also, i got rid of the goofy "Word That All Men Know" mix with the overpowering organ and replaced it with just me and the guitar.

lyrics:

sometimes i sing the saddest songs,
songs of love or lovers lost (x2)

so i can feel what's left (x4)

sometimes i sing the saddest songs,
and of my songs you're the saddest one.

Thanks -- the volume was really low, even when I turned it up.

Inspired by? Or too personal to share...?

On an unrelated note, your latest poem is a beautiful and haunting tribute to that poor, tortured woman's pain.

the funny thing is it's not really inspired by anyone. i'm married to the most wonderful woman on the planet, and have had a great life. but poets are always able to wallow in the depths of depression, and i guess i'm a poet :)
